It is designed to repair tyre punctures from the inside, whilst plugging the hole of the injury – Hence it is a plug and a patch in one unit.

The blue taped backing of the patch is extremely useful as it ensures no air can affect the gum rubber of the patch, creating a perfectly sealed area.

Make sure to put vulcanizing cement on the stem – this helps to lubricate the stem for an easier pull through, while also causing it to bond with the tyre to prevent leaks.
